Matt Redman To Record New Live Album In February
British-born worship leader Matt Redman, who has spent the past few years working at the Passion City Church in Atlanta, Georgia, has revealed that he will record a new live album in 2011. Writing on his Twitter page, Matt said that the album would be recorded in Atlanta on February 18th/19th 2011.
Matt released his latest studio album 'We Shall Not Be Shaken' in September 2009 and has also been involved in many of the Passion event albums, including this year's 'Passion: Awakening' album. He will once again be taking part in the Passion 2011 conference in Atlanta starting on 1st January 2011.
In the early 1990's Matt helped establish the Soul Survivor church and festival in the UK. Following work with several other churches in the UK, Matt moved to Atlanta in 2008 to work with Louie and Shelley Giglio at Passion City Church. "We've been part of the Passion team for several years now - and have really enjoyed journeying with Louie, Shelley, Chris [Tomlin] and all the guys", says Matt.
