Trent's 'Burn Bright' CD/DVD To Get US Release In New Year
The latest live album from British worship bands Trent, 'Burn Bright' will be released in the US on 11th January 2011. The live CD/DVD from the resident band at Trent Vineyard in Nottingham, was released in the UK last year but will now be made available in North America by Kingsway/EMI CMG Distribution.
The album includes four brand new songs, including the title track, and some of Trent's best-loved songs, such as 'Perfect Sacriï¬ce', 'I Will Hold On', 'Unfailing Love' and 'Love Divine'. Known for their collective approach to writing songs and breathing fresh expression into Biblical themes, Trent members Adam Blundy (drums), Nigel Briggs (vocals, guitars), Rich Bull (electric guitars), Matt Loose (keys, piano, backing vocals) and Phil Squires (bass, backing vocals) craft songs born out of their walk with God as part of the Trent Vineyard.
In an interview with LouderThanTheMusic, Rich Bull said "Having done two studio albums we were keen to capture what we do best, leading worship, at home with our friends and family at Trent Vineyard. The songs are the soundtracks to the lives of so many people in our church and it was great to host an evening that everyone could participate in who has inspired us on our journey."
Produced by Trevor Michael and directed by Andy Hutch, 'Trent Live - Burn Bright' features 14 songs and 70 minutes of music. The companion DVD not only includes all 14 songs, but also behind the scenes footage, band interviews, a look at the Arches (a ministry of Trent Vineyard), and an interview with Trent Vineyard pastors John and Debbie Wright. The DVD further features SongTeach videos, a useful tool for worship leaders and others interested in learning to play the songs on the recording.
