Jan 11 2011

Singer/songwriter Audrey Assad has topped online retailer Amazon.com's Best Christian CDs of 2010 list with her debut full-length album 'The House You're Building'. In addition, Audrey collected the title of top selling new artist of 2010 in the Christian genre according to SoundScan.

Second in Amazon's end of year chart was Chris August with 'No Far Away', with artists such as House of Heroes, Matthew West, Ivoryline, Third Day and Chris Tomlin also featuring in the top 10.

"I am honored and humbled by the response to The House You're Building," comments Audrey, who will be joining Jars of Clay on their Spring tour during 2011. "I spent so much time pouring my heart and soul into the songs, and to know that people are moved by them in any capacity is more than enough reward for those efforts. 2010 was an incredible year for me - I moved to Phoenix, I released a record and I got engaged! It feels like too many blessings for such a little life, but I am truly grateful."
