Louder Than The Music

British Catholic band Ooberfuse will release their debut full length album 'Still Love My Enemies' at a special event held at Leicester Square Theatre in London on 9th June 2011. The electro-pop band gained national exposure in the mainstream press when their song 'Heart's Cry' was chosen as the official youth anthem of the Pope's three day visit to the UK last year.

The band, who all live in London, sent their track to Father Andrew Headon, a member of the Papal Visit Organising Committee which chose the song to represent young worshippers and was played during the Pope's prayer vigil in London's Hyde Park.

Ooberfuse consists of Cherrie Anderson (vocals), Hal St John (synths), Cornel Sorian (synths, guitar), Alex De Torres (guitar, synths) and Michel Radermecker (drums). Leading British newspapers The Telegraph and The Independent both featured articles about the band's song being used for the Pope's visit, with The Independent saying: "Ooberfuse's track bears a passing resemblance to Black Eyed Peas' breakthrough single, 'Where is the love?' and open with extracts of a speech by Pope Benedict proclaiming that 'evil will never reign in the hearts of men again.'"
