Leeland Working On New Album 'The Great Awakening'
Three time Grammy nominated rock band Leeland will release their fourth studio album 'The Great Awakening' on 20th September 2011. The Texas based band have been in the studio since March working on what will be the follow up to their 2009 album 'Love Is On The Move'.
"We can't believe it's been over two years since we recorded 'Love is on the Move'. But here we are; at the beginning of a new one. There's a certain feeling that comes along with starting anything new. It's the high of possibility. And we all feel that buzz today as we're tinkering with sounds, EQ'ing drums, setting up keyboards, and running through songs", said band member Jack Mooring on their first day in the studio recording the new album.
Few details have yet to be announced about the new album, but Jack did reveal the title of one of the tracks, 'I Cry', saying "It's definitely one of my favorites so far! The lyrics are a heart wrenching cry to God in a time of deep need."
