Union State To Launch New Album 'Unarmed Truth'

Scottish worship band Union State will launch their new album 'Unarmed Truth' on 1st October 2011 with a concert at Adelaide Baptist Church in Glasgow. Joining them at the show will be The Project, with tickets available on the door.

"The album will be called 'unarmed truth' and will be dedicated to the memories our friends Jim Davidson, Chuck Andrews and Paul Large", says the band. "Unarmed truth comes from a speech by Martin Luther King and is from the longer quote 'unarmed truth and unconditional love'."

The band recorded their first EP in November 2009 and last year released their 'The Way You Love' album. Union State are a contemporary guitar driven praise and worship band with a sound similar to David Crowder, Chris Tomlin and Delirious. The band consists of Scott (guitar & vocals), Ails (vocals), Rico (drums), Kevin (guitar), Grant (bass) and Paul (vocals & guitar).
