Newsboys New Single 'God's Not Dead (Like A Lion)' Released
Newsboys have now released their new single 'God's Not Dead (Like A Lion)', ahead of the release of their new rock-driven modern worship album 'God's Not Dead' on 15th November 2011. The album's lead single and title track was written by popular songwriter Daniel Bashta and sees Newsboys front man Michael Tait reunited with his former DC Talk band mate Kevin Max as they share the vocals. The single can be downloaded from iTunes and AmazonMP3 now.
The new album includes covers of seven well known CCLI chart-topping tracks, including 'Forever Reign', written by award-winning songwriter and producer Jason Ingram and Hillsong's Reuben Morgan and previously recorded by One Sonic Society and Hillsong, 'Revelation Song' (Gateway Worship and Kari Jobe), 'Your Love Never Fails' (Jesus Culture) and the Hillsong classic 'Mighty To Save'.
Five new original songs are also featured on the album, including 'The King is Coming', 'Here We Stand', and 'All The Way'. Kevin Max also sings on 'I Am Second', described as the edgiest song on the album.
The album was produced by Seth Mosley, who was also co-producer on 'Born Again', the band's previous album which debuted at number 4 on the main Billboard 200 charts in its first week.
