N. Ireland's Nathan Jess To Release Debut Single 'I Am Redeemed'

Nov 24 2011

Singer/songwriter Nathan Jess from Northern Ireland releases his debut single 'I Am Redeemed' on Sunday, 27th November 2011. Described as sounding like David Gray, Damien Rice and Jeff Buckley, Nathan recently signed with Kingsway after the British-based label watched his successful support slot for Casting Crowns when the US band visited Belfast a year ago.

"As a lyricist Nathan is one of the most efficient around", says Kingsway. "In just 115 words 'I Am Redeemed' takes the worshipper on a journey from the garden of Gethsemane, through the agony of the cross all the way up to the fullness of life today."

"My approach doesn't sit within the established worship mold," explains Nathan. "It was originally written to appear on a film in France as the closing sequence. It is a song that proclaims our redemption boldly and confidently: that we can know our King who came and gave Himself up."
