Casting Crowns, Chris Tomlin, Tenth Avenue North & Kirk Franklin Top 2011 Billboard Charts
Influential US chart agency Billboard have announced their year end charts for 2011. Topping the Christian Songs of the year chart are Tenth Avenue North with 'You Are More'. Top Christian Songs Artist is worship leader Chris Tomlin, while his album 'And If Our God Is For Us...' tops the Christian Albums of the year chart.
In the Christian Albums Artists chart, Casting Crowns are top, whilst topping both the Gospel Albums and Gospel Albums Artists chart is Kirk Franklin with his 'Hello Fear' album.
Both Casting Crowns current and previous albums feature in the Christian Albums chart, with their latest album 'Come To The Well' at number 6 following it's October release, and its predecessor 'Until The Whole World Hears' at number 3 despite being released over 2 years ago. The band's song 'Glorious Day (Living He Loved Me)', from their live album 'Until The Whole World Hears... Live', also made it to number 2 on the Christian Songs chart, and the band themselves are number 3 on the Christian Songs Artists chart.
