Israel Houghton To Release Best-Of Album 'The First Decade' & New Live Album
Cross-cultural Gospel worship leader Israel Houghton will release a best-of album featuring a collection of his best songs from the past ten years, titled 'The First Decade', on 5th March 2012.
The double CD album from Israel Houghton and New Breed has been remixed and remastered and also features two new songs including the global church anthem 'Jesus At The Center Of It All' which is currently being sung by some of the largest congregations around the world including, Hillsong, Lakewood, Free Chapel and others.
Other tracks included on the album are 'Friend Of God', 'Not Forgotten', 'Who Is Like The Lord', 'Alpha And Omega', 'Hosanna (Be Lifted Higher)' and 'No Limits (Enlarge My Territory)'.
Israel's latest studio album 'Love God Love People' won a Grammy Award in 2011, bringing the singer's Grammy tally to four. Next month Israel and New Breed will record a new live album at Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas where Israel is a worship leader. Writing on Twitter, Israel said: "Free Live Recording Israel & New Breed Live at Lakewood Feb 1st, 4th & 5th. Our 1st Live Record in 5 yrs. spread the word!"
