The City Harmonic Ask Fans To Film Themselves For New Video 'Mountaintop'

May 02 2012

Canadian worship band The City Harmonic are asking for fans to submit footage of themselves for their new music video. The band's new single, 'Mountaintop', taken from their hugely successful recent album 'I Have A Dream (It Feels Like Home)', is due for official release later this year, and the video is receiving special attention.

"Instead of calling people to gather together for a single video shoot, The City Harmonic are going for something bolder: they're asking people to film themselves singing 'Mountaintop'", explains Kingsway. "Whatever the location, whatever the backdrop - whether at home, away or - yes - up a literal mountaintop - as long as the footage is HD it can be submitted for inclusion."

The band are currently coming to the end of the 60-date 'God's Not Dead World Tour' where they have been supporting Newsboys. Their hit single 'Manifesto' has sold over 100,000 copies while the music video has been viewed nearly 1.5 million times on YouTube.
