Brian Houston Releases New Album 'Shelter'

May 25 2012

Belfast singer-songwriter Brian Houston has released his new album 'Shelter'. BBC Radio Two has already played a track from the album which features eleven brand new original songs representing a significant change in style for the singer.

"Funk, Soul, Garage Rock and Gospel blues combine to create an incendiary mix of electrified Americana" says Re-vived.

"Soaring soulful background vocals are provided by the world famous McCrary sisters and the music takes on a new texture with the stinging stabs of the Belfast Blues Brass section."

Known for his various musical styles, from Christian to roots and mainstream-orientated songs, Brian is also one third of the rootsy acoustic worship band The Hudson Taylors alongside English worship leader Noel Richards and America's Wayne Drain.

Brian Houston will be performing live at Bangor Elim Complex in Belfast on Saturday 23rd June 2012.
