Third Day To Release New Album 'Miracle' In November, Listen To Clips Now
Third Day will release their sixteenth album, 'Miracle', on 6th November 2012. The band worked with legendary producer Brendan O'Brien (Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam, The Fray) on the album which includes first single, 'I Need A Miracle' which goes to radio on 17th September.
"From the opening track, 'Hit Me Like A Bomb', it is clear that Third Day means business when they say they want to bring something new to the table", says Provident. "Musically, there are sounds that have never been on a Third Day album including layered guitars, layered harmonies, and sing-a-long gang vocals."
"Music styles range from pulsating rock to acoustic pop-rock, yet the classic Third Day sound everyone loves is still there but refreshed and rejuvenated. Lyrically, the themes are relevant for our culture today. Songs about pressing on in difficult times (Your Love Is Like A River, I Need A Miracle), praying for change (Hit Me Like A Bomb, Believe In Something), and hope for better times (The Victory, Take Me Back)."
Mac Powell recently releases his debut solo country album featuring 12 original country songs. Third Day will headline a major Spring 2013 tour and play all the major summer festivals.
The new project follows a highly successful 2011 for Third Day, which included being the first Christian artist ever to receive ASCAP's coveted Vanguard Award. The four-time Grammy Award winning band's previous album, 'Move' reached number 9 in the main Billboard 200 album chart in 2010.
