Louder Than The Music

A brand new monthly worship event, called The Beach Hut, is being launched in West Sussex on Sunday 30th September 2012.

Hosted by Arun Community Church and Big Church Day Out, the event will take place on the last Sunday of each month at Littlehampton Academy School's 1000 capacity main sports hall.

The new worship event draws obvious comparisons to the Cutting Edge youth events of the early 1990s, also held in a Littlehampton school, which were the foundations of the band Delirious, who went on to become one of the most successful Christian bands in the UK.

"Our heart, as it was with Cutting Edge some 20 years ago, is to have an event where people from all over our area can come together to worship in a dynamic and uninhibited way, and to create a place for building relationship together across our area, particularly with our young people", says Tim Jupp, the former Delirious band member who now runs the Big Church Day Out event each year.
