Hillsong United To Release New Album 'Zion' In February 2013

Nov 09 2012

Best selling modern worship band Hillsong United are putting the finishing touches to their brand new studio album, 'Zion', ahead of its release on 25th February 2013.

Fronted by worship leaders Joel Houston, Jad Gillies and Jonathon 'JD' Douglass, the Australian worship band will release 'Zion' as both a standard CD and a Deluxe Edition double CD version.

Joel Houston and Michael Guy Chislett (producer) have been in the UK this week mixing the album with Sam Gibson (Jesus Culture, Pearl Jam, Crowded House). 'Zion' will be the third studio album from the current evolution of the band, following previous studio albums 'Aftermath' (2011) and 'All of the Above' (2007).

Earlier this year Hillsong United released their first live album in four years, 'Live In Miami', recorded during their 'Aftermath US Tour 2011'. The band have also confirmed they will be touring the USA again in 2013.
