Former Bosh Singer Dave Griffiths To Release Solo EP 'The Way Through The Land'

Feb 04 2013

Former Bosh front man Dave Griffiths will release his debut solo EP, 'The Way Through The Land' later this Spring. The Bournemouth based singer/songwriter spent 15 years recording albums with British band Bosh, and was part of the widely acclaimed Chaos Curb album.

"The EP basically picks up where BOSH left off, with out-and-out rock song 'The Land' kicking things off", explains Dave.

The song is also available as a free download from his web site, and is essentially a love song to England and it's countryside infused with a prophetic message.

The seven track EP, co-produced with David Evans, is described as rootsy and folky, featuring the violin skills of Mark Wood, formerly of Brother John.

"I'm wearing influences such as Van Morrison and Foy Vance on my sleeve", continues Dave.

"The content of the lyrics reflects that of journey, as many were inspired on my travels throughout England as a gigging musician. Much of the themes are subtly that of kingdom and it's all shot through with a lot of hope, excited about the in-breaking of God into human history in Jesus."
