Chaos Curb Collaboration Begin Recording Second Album
Chaos Curb Collaboration have announced plans for a follow up album to their heavily acclaimed self-titled debut album from 2012.
Former Bosh band member Dave Griffiths is currently arranging for collaborators to come in and add their touch to the recording process. Chaos Curb as a network is also currently shooting for an accompanying film about what they do.
"It's sounding very different from the first album so far. Much more left-field", explains Dave Griffiths.
"I've been drawing on electronic influences like James Blake a lot more, and writing mainly on piano. Lyrically and sonically, some of it is quite dark and dense - which is not often done on music meant for the church."
"I think I still want to create something that challenges the conventions of 'worship music', both lyrically and in it's production. The phrase I have for it is 'progressive and prophetic'.
I also want it to be accessible for people who don't go to church or even believe in Jesus yet. So, again, I've set a bar quite high in terms of goals for this project."
