Peter Furler Back With A Band & New Album 'Sun And Shield'
Former Newsboys singer Peter Furler is returning with a new album 'Sun and Shield' under the artist name of the Peter Furler Band.
Releasing on 11th March 2014, the album sees Furler teaming up with longtime producer/lyricist Steve Taylor for the first time since Newsboys' gold-certified 'Adoration' album.
Peter's band is made up of Dave Ghazarian (Superchick, Audio Adrenaline) on bass and Jeff Irizarry on drums.
As the writer behind 27 Number 1 radio singles and 22 years as the main creative force behind Newsboys, Furler released his first solo album 'On Fire' in 2011.
His latest release combines an ambitious collection of new songs with a more muscular, band-driven sound that harkens back to the glory days of 'Take Me To Your Leader'.
Peter Furler Band will be touring with Third Day, Skillet, Brandon Heath, Mandisa and We As Human in March.
