Former Prisoner Steve Moon Releases 'Hold On To Your Faith'

Mar 25 2015

Steve Moon releases his prison-penned album 'Hold On To Your Faith' on 21st March 2015, following a life changing conversion which fills the album with a passionate authenticity.

Penned while in prison, each song resonates with the richness of God's Grace on a former inmate turned prison minister. Facing the daily trials of incarceration and seeing the road ahead, Steve Moon sought a better path and started reading the Bible, attending church services and Bible studies.

It was while writing "I Am Yours" that he felt the peace and euphoria of God descend. "It was like a drug," he said about the experience, "but better. The presence of the LORD just overcame me."

"Hold On To Your Faith," the title track and single, is a U2-inspired rock hit that turns your morning commute into an inspiration. The opus "Messiah" comes on like an Old Testament prophet, with spoken-word, choirs, pianos, strings and a great rock chorus.

"He Lives Inside of Me," is a piano rock country ballad with a catchy chorus and atmospheric verses.

Steve's South Texas honky-tonk ear worm "The Stumble Song," will appeal to any classic country fan.

"I Need You Jesus" is powerful, poppy and catchy with smooth background vocals that will have you singing and tapping your toe. "Hold on / It's not too late / Hold on / To your faith," Steve Moon sings on the album opener.
