Blog: Matt Redman - Classics
With the release of Matt Redman's latest album 'We Shall Not Be Shaken' fast approaching, Louder Than The Music decided to take a look back at some of the classic albums from Matt's back catalogue:
Intimacy (1998)
This album has loads of big names on it, from Martin Smith & Stu G, Nathan Fellingham, and Matt Weeks to many more. Some great songs on here that are still being sung all over the world
LTTM rating 4 out of 5 Stars
Standout Track: The Heart Of Worship
The Father's Song (2000)
This was the very first album I bought of Matt's, and has a very special place in my heart, with its clean sounds and worshipful songs, each track is different to the last, but also as an album it works, leading people to a place of honest worship.
LTTM rating 5 out of 5 Stars
Standout Track: Holy Moment
Where Angels Fear to Tread (2002)
This album didn't seem to capture the imagination of some people, yet when you look at the track listing, it's a wonderful collection of great worship songs. Maybe as an album it didn't work as it seemed like there were a few too many single tracks on there. Still a great album and well produced.
LTTM rating 3.5 out of 5 Stars
Standout Track : Blessed Be Your Name
Facedown (2004)
Released as a Live DVD as well as a Live CD, to me this is the most complete album, with every track worth its place. A wonderful sense of being facedown in worship to God. Matt's most complete album to date.
LTTM 5 out of 5 Stars
Standout Track : Dancing Generation
Beautiful News (2007)
A fantastic album which sadly wasn't fully embraced by everyone. Beautiful News is a great Matt Redman album with many tracks leading to a sense of worship in different situations, from pain to suffering to servant hood.
LTTM 3.5 out of 5 Stars
Standout Track: You Never Let Go
We Shall Not Be Shaken (2009)
A fantastic album that is summed up beautifully in Dave's Review.

Standout Track : Gloria
