Louder Than The Music

Rivers & Robots will release their new album 'The Eternal Son' on 20th May 2016.

"This will be our fourth album as Rivers & Robots, and our second as a full band", explains the group.

"We’ve been writing these songs all year and are already really happy with how they’re coming together. We believe this is going to be our best album yet, and so we decided to take the step to make sure we record and release this album to the best standard we can. We launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise the funds needed to get this one professionally recorded, mixed, mastered and released on CD as well as Vinyl (which will be a first for us!)

This is set to be our most joyful album yet, and we’ve been enjoying playing these songs live already! Many of the songs have actually come from difficult periods, but choosing instead to worship our way into joy, and the release of joy that we see when we play these songs live makes us really excited to get these songs out there!

The theme of a lot of the album is the eternity of God, compared to the temporary nature of this life. So often we can get caught up in the worries of a temporary life and forget that we were made for eternity with God. It’s also a celebration of the eternal attributes of Jesus - His love is eternal, His grace is eternal, His glory is eternal, and so on..."
