Rain or Shine, It's Festival Time!

Jul 28 2009

Jono here, just wanted to drop you a line.

So the British summer is here, which means a few things: Yes, rain, ice cream, rain, sandcastles, rain, people moaning about a heat wave, people moaning about rain, suncream and of course, festivals.

Over the last ten years more and more Christian festivals have been created and expanded and grown. For example, Soul Survivor which was only a one week event is now a two week event in Shepton Mallett, a one week event up north, and a student event called Momentum at the end of August (which I'm going to). There is of course the big event which is Greenbelt, which is more bands based, with many different venues, different styles of bands and teaching. And slap bang in the middle of August in Cornwall is Creation Fest, which is surprisingly in its 8th Year. And this is just in the UK.

So whatever you're doing for a holiday this summer, and wherever you are in the world, try and find a local Christian festival and head on over, and then drop us and e-mail via the contact page to tell us what you got up to and what amazing bands you saw.
