Worship Leaders Korey & Alicia Elkins Release 'Safe' Single
Husband and wife worship leaders Korey and Alicia Elkins, from Indianapolis, have just released their first single, 'Safe'. "We're very passionate about the local Church and getting Christ's hope and peace out into the world", explain the couple.
Korey & Alicia have been on separate paths to each other their whole life. Alicia started her ministry in worship at Indiana Bible College. Shortly after graduation she began travelling as a backup singer for a gospel artist. She spent a few years on the road, ministering to thousands. Life held a few seemingly unfortunate twists and turns and landed her and her newborn daughter, Lark, back in Indiana. They began going to Life Connections in Fishers, IN and there she met Korey.
Korey started his ministry in high school, leading worship at the church his parents pastored. After graduating, he spent time in Eastern Europe leading evangelism and starting worship programs in the church plants there. After coming back home to Indiana, he began working at Life Connections as the Worship Pastor.
As Korey and Alicia began working together at Life Connections, they shortly fell in love and started their life together. They believe God has given them songs to sing for the Church. Born from this desire is their first single, 'Safe', which is available now from iTunes and Amazon (see shop links above) and on Spotify.
