Hip-Hop Trio Alert312 Release 'Joy King Supreme'
Chicago based Hip-Hop trio Alert312 have released their third full-length record 'Joy King Supreme'. The album explores the source of joy we find exclusively in the person of Jesus Christ and the infinite gifts He holds together for our joy. Esteban Shedd, Streetlights Director and Alert312 emcee, speaks from a Biblical lens on many topics: injustice, gentrification, fear, identity, and hope in eternal life. Esteban writes, laments and celebrates with blunt meditation.
Alert312 is made up by 3 musical brothers who have channeled their eclectic roots and faith to craft genuine sonic and visual art for any willing listener. Now in their 3rd season of creative endeavors, the music is mature and expresses the mash-up of culture that continues to influence their sound. Authentic live performance is their muse.
