Listen Above Releases New Single 'Part Of The Gift'
Listen Above has released a followup to their successful, self-titled, CCM debut with their new single, entitled 'Part Of The Gift'. The song was written and arranged by group leader David Lauria, and showcases vocalists Emily Turtle and Caroline Coleman in a beautiful, a cappella setting.
This hopeful prayer was written for the occasion of Fr. Robert Hawkins retirement from St. Luke's Church in Barrington, RI. It takes its title from one of Fr. Bob's beloved homilies, and was originally performed at his final mass as pastor. The recording is now available on all streaming media sites, including iTunes and Spotify, and the sheet music can be purchased online for any choral groups who may be interested.
In addition to his duties at St. Luke's, Mr. Lauria is the Choral Director at Mt. Hope High School in Bristol, RI.
