Nashville Singer Jemia Releases Self-Titled Debut EP

Sep 06 2019

Nashville singer Jemia has released her self-titled debut EP. Originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana - this daughter of a former professional NFL player found her true calling following her own college career as a division 1 athlete. That calling was as a singer and worship leader who would eventually call Nashville home to her ministry.

Singing with her local church choir in Louisiana from a very young age prepared her and inspired her in her desire to be a part of glorifying God in song through praise and worship.

Jemia has been leading praise and worship in multi-cultural settings for twenty years which lends itself to her sound which is a mix of contemporary with a flare of gospel and soul that resonates with a diverse audience. Along with her experience of leading praise and worship, Jemia has found a niche as a background vocalist and has recorded background vocals for artists like Michael W. Smith, Steven Curtis Chapman, Deluge Band, Jonathan Stockstill, and others; as well as sharing the stage with CeCe Winans, William McDowell, David and Nicole Binion, and others.
