verilyy Releases Debut Single 'Luvthewayy.'
Hailing from the city of the rodeo "Daddy of em' All," Cheyenne, Wyoming native Doug Stille released his debut single, 'luvthewayy.' on Friday, September 6th under his new artist name, verilyy. However western his roots are, his music is a far cry from the country artists that pass through his hometown every year. Blending pop, hip-hop, trap, and alternative R&B, Doug seeks to captivate listeners through his lyricism and emotion-driven music.
"I chose the artist name 'verilyy.' because the word, 'verily,' is synonymous with the words 'honestly,' and 'truthfully.' This new project is close to my heart and reflects my life circumstances, personal taste of music, and artistic flare."
His first single "luvthewayy." tells the story of acceptance and love amidst life mistakes and blunders. "My fiance Grace has taught me so much about love and forgiveness. When I was crushed by the weight of my sin and past failures, she chose to show me love and reminded me of who I am. I am a child of God, and my value comes from Jesus' sacrifice.
