Rock Band Steve Make Old Demos Available Following LTTM Facebook Thread

Sep 12 2019

After LouderThanTheMusic.com featured British rock band steve's 2001 album 'Falling Down' in its regular Classic album of the week feature last month, a facebook thread on the LTTMOfficial facebook page has resulted in former band members releasing some of their old demos.

steve bowed out in 2006 after 10 years of ministry. The five demo tracks are available now on bandcamp (see below) and were originally record between 1999 and 2002. "Some of these demos are pretty rough and ready, so treat these as a historical curiosity rather than a hi-fidelity recording of everyone's favourite CCM popstars", explains Steven Cowley.

Discussing the track 'We R Here 2 Rock', Steven continued, "Recorded in 1999, to an 8-track ADAT system if I remember correctly. Rough and ready, with a remarkable bit of opera singing in the mid 8. I think we used to do this one as our first song at gigs around this time."
