Billboard Charting Artists BlissBliss Release Marvin Gaye Cover 'What's Going On'
Hailing from Nashville, Sophisti-Pop duo BlissBliss are releasing their new single 'What’s Going On' on November 1st, their fresh new take on Marvin Gaye's iconic hit song.
"It was just one of those songs we had always wanted to do; a classic R&B tune with a wonderful melody and message", explains the dup. "It's a song and message that are relevant even right now and we think you'll love hearing it again, but with Renee's female lead vocal, twist on it."
Renee Garcia and Lang Bliss drive the soulful, sophisticated pop group, BlissBliss. They count their Influences from Sting, Steely Dan and Swing Out Sister to Joni Mitchell and John Mayer. Both are veteran performers of tours, shows and recording sessions with world-renowned artists such as Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith, and Michael McDonald and they’ve performed everywhere from the Grammy’s to prisons.
Their first single, 'Fight For Peace', became a number #1 hit on CCM radio. A dance remix of their song 'No Apology', remixed by multiple #1 charting DJs, rose to #15 on The Billboard Dance Chart in 2018.
