Mark Bajona Returns With Singles 'Judgement Day' And 'In The Rain'

Oct 14 2019

Canada's Mark Bajona has released two new singles 'Judgement Day' and 'In The Rain'. The two live songs were recorded without any additional studio work. "I did them live to my Samsung 5 cell and sang it straight to my phone recorder and then mastered them online for free using landr.com" explains Mark.

In 1973 Mark was the main guitar player in a band called Mantis. "We were signed to a division of A and R records called Sweet Plum. I auditioned for this Montreal band in Toronto and got the position. Then in 1980 I joined a band called The Start. We were signed to Captiol Records Canada. The band was just taking off when the singer got sick and we could not replace him so we broke up. We played festivals with bands like The Pretenders, B52s, Elvis Costello, Talking Heads, Radio Head, Nick Lowe of a band called Rockpile, and a musician known as Gary Numan.

I always carried my musical spirit with me but decided to get a day job and raise a family as I was not ready to try again for fame and fortune. Well now the kids are grown up but still my passion for songwriting haunts me so that's where I am now."
