Israel Collective Unveils 'Hip Hop Meets The Holy Land' Documentary

Oct 23 2019

Israel Collective, a global community of young Christian peacemakers, has unveiled it's new video. 'A New Sound In Israel' is a documentary described as "Hip Hop meets The Holy Land". The Israel Collective is an initiative of Christians United For Israel (CUFI) founded in 2014 by a team of young Christian leaders dedicated to building vibrant relationships between American Christians and the people of the Holy Land.

In October 2018, a group of rappers, singers and poets traveled to Israel with CUFI’s millennial outreach initiative, the Israel Collective (IC). The result was unprecedented: Lamontt 'Spec' Blackshire, a Grammy nominated and Dove & Stellar award winning producer, wrote, recorded and produced an album and filmed a music video in the Holy Land along with Derek Minor, Bookie The Baby, George Moss, Chrissy Lane, Anthony Quest, and Will Thomas.

"Our goal is to create a community that walks out the teachings of Jesus by asking how we can love Israelis and Palestinians in a way that makes God smile. As His followers, we are called to take a different path, to love others as He loved them, and to bring joy and life to our brothers and sisters in the Holy Land. This means cultivating living friendships based on love, truth and respect, and enabling our fellow Christians around the world to do the same."
