Yandie Releases New Single 'Took A Chance'
Yandie, a Singer/Songwriter based in the UK, originally from South Africa, has released her third single of the year, 'Took A Chance' available now on all Digital Platforms. "Taking a risk isn’t an easy thing; it requires boldness and a strong conviction that something or someone is worth it", she explains.
"God does this with us. He’s given us free will, which means we have the option to follow Him or not. Most of us would never dare to invest in something without a guarantee that the returns would be worth it. Jesus didn’t have a guarantee that we would love him back, but He chose to give up His life regardless.
My challenge for everyone who listens to this song is to return the favour. Take a Chance on God. This may look like being more engaged with your faith, or choosing to forgive. It may be acting on an idea God put in your heart, or letting go of negative influences that you’ve been attached to for a while. It could be choosing to go to church on Sunday more often, or allocating time every day to talk to God. Whatever it looks like to you, be intentional about putting God first - because He was intentional when He died for you. Take a Chance on God and watch Him transform your life for the better."
Yandie has a vast musical background ranging from singing in musicals and children’s choirs to ministering in churches and worship teams. Her passion for God through music has allowed to her grace various stages across the UK and in South Africa.
