Michael W Smith To Start Work On New Album In January
Having recently completed the 2009 leg of his 'A New Hallelujah World Tour', which wound its way from Eastern Europe to Canada, singing legend Michael W Smith has revealed that he will be heading into the studio in January 2010 to start working on a new album.
No further details are yet known, but it is expected that the album would probably be released in August or September of next year.
Michael was joined by artists Matt Maher, Phil Stacey and Meredith Andrews on his latest tour which promoted his 'A New Hallelujah' CD/DVD. The album was Michael's fourth live album and his twenty-second album overall. The title track won the 2009 Dove Award for Best Inspirational Recorded Song.
