Keith Green Song 'Happy Birthday To You (Jesus)' Released For First Time
Keith Green, known for writing popular modern hymns such as 'There Is A Redeemer' and 'O Lord, You're Beautiful', and who died in a plane crash in 1982, has had his Christmas song 'Happy Birthday To You (Jesus)' released as a download.
The song was only ever performed once in concert by Keith and until now was never released. The track was recorded at a concert in 1981 and talks about the commercialism of Christmas and encourages us to remember the real meaning of Christmas - a message that still rings true today.
Says record label Sparrow, "Available digitally, this never-before-released song also comes with a talk about Christmas from Keith that will stir your heart and challenge all of us to rethink Christmas".
'Happy Birthday To You (Jesus)' is available on Amazon MP3 and iTunes.
