Fifth Album 'Pieces of a Real Heart' Coming From Sanctus Real
Hugely popular Christian rock band Sanctus Real will release their fifth studio album 'Pieces of a Real Heart' on 9th March 2010. The album's first radio single 'Forgiven' has already proved a massive success, with fans being encouraged to send in their own personal stories of forgiveness, hope and redemption, which have been posted on the bands website.
Last month, lead singer Matt Hammitt announced on Twitter and Facebook that the band had narrowed down the album title to two options, either 'A Million Hearts' or 'Pieces of a Real Heart'. Fans were given a chance to vote for the title they liked the most, before it was then confirmed that the chosen title was 'Pieces of a Real Heart'.
The new album follows up from the success of Sanctus Real's previous album 'We Need Each Other' (2008). The band spend several months this year promoting that album on their 'Something Heavenly Tour' with Jason Gray and Phil Wickham.
