One Voice Collective Launch Ground Breaking BLM Video 'Somebody Please Hear Our Voice'
Following the killing of George Floyd, amidst protest marches, and uncomfortable yet constructive conversations, the question was how should we respond? "Somebody Please Hear Our Voice" perfectly reflects God’s heart for worship & justice. Written by Noel Robinson & Israel Houghton and produced by Nicky Brown at Abbey Road Studios, the song was revisited in a ground breaking video launched by One Voice Collective in association with Premier.
"These are important days, when there is a need to remind everyone that ‘Black Lives Matter’. Following the killing of George Floyd, amidst protest marches and uncomfortable yet constructive conversations, the question was how should we respond.? After some consideration, we felt Somebody Please hear our voice perfectly reflects God’s heart for Worship & Justice. ‘ For its with One Voice we will sing a new song and with One Voice we will right what’s wrong’".
