New EP From Vicky Beeching Due In February, Full Album In April
Vicky Beeching is set to release a new three song EP in February 2010. Having recently moved record labels to Integrity Music, Vicky has also been in the studio recently putting the finishing touches to her next full-length album, tentatively titled 'Eternity Invades', planned for release in April 2010. The EP has been mixed by Sam Gibson (Delirious?, Pearl Jam, Crowded House), who will also be mixing the full album in January.
Speaking about the new album, Vicky said: "[I] can't wait for you to hear the strings we've had recorded in New York. I was blown away when I heard them! The album has a great mix of huge rockin' band songs, beautiful strings, and intimate piano moments. I think a great album should feel like a walk through hills and valleys, where you see light and shade, different horizons, and refreshing variety. I believe the album has that, yet all tied together with great cohesiveness."
Originally born and educated in England, Vicky now lives in San Diego, California. She has been working alongside producer Jonathan MacIntosh, a former guitarist for Tim Hughes, Brenton Brown, Kevin Max and more. Delirious? guitarist Stu G has recorded guitars for some songs on Vicky's album, and other collaborations are believed to include Sarah MacIntosh (former lead singer for Chasing Furies) and Steve Fee (from the band Fee).
Prior to signing for Integrity, Vicky released two critically acclaimed CDs, 'Yesterday Today and Forever' (2005) and 'Painting The Invisible' (2007). She has also led worship extensively in the US, Canada and Europe.
