Their version 'I'll Be Home For Christmas' is an elegant jazz version with brushed drums and a double bass that is classy sounding, it is such a smooth sounding version. This opening number has all the perfect Christmas elements to get you in the cozy winter holiday mood.
The harmonies during 'It Came Upon A midnight Clear' are divine. From a jazz track to start this EP off we then go into a hushed lullaby with this one. With such quality vocalists singing you are struck with how amazing their voices sing this one.
We then jump back into late 1950's rock with 'Santa Looked A Lot Like Daddy' which is a cover of the 1965 song by Buck Owens with this version having the brilliant Drew Holcomb take the vocals lead. The saxophone and guitar solos in here are lovely and sound so clear and 50's.
As a collection of Christmas songs this EP captures the spirit of coming home, slowing down, and celebrating the moments that matter most, making it a welcome addition to this year’s Christmas music lineup.
