You might think an acoustic Ep wouldn't have the aggressive intensity that we have come to expect from Decyfer Down. Well in a strange way it does.The energy is still very much in these songs, and for this to work the honest answer is that the band as musicians must be at the top of their game and that the songs have to be good enough that once the distortion has gone you are left with a solid/good song.
The song 'Anchor Me' has a great tone. The bass and the picking acoustic guitars add a depth I wasn't expecting...
