Explaining how the idea for the song came to her, Jess said, "I have been leading Worship at a Christian Recovery meeting called Higher Power in Foster City, CA and was inspired by their lives and testimonies to write this song for them, and for anyone needing to break the shackles and chains that bind us. In Jesus, is where we find freedom! In Jesus, Chains Break."
The new single follows the recent success of '
