I'm Not My Yesterday' is about leaving my past behind and becoming the person I was created to be", explains Howard. "We all have things we're not proud of, but they don't have to define us. The line, "I'm not my yesterday, grace has washed my past away," really says it all. My hope is that this song reminds people that no matter where they've been, they can still change."

Welcome To Your Life" will be Gripp's first full-length album, produced entirely by Billy Smiley and recorded in Nashville. The project represents Howard's most ambitious work to date, building on the momentum established by two acclaimed EPs that have collectively earned more than 500,000 Spotify streams, multiple national music awards, and growing recognition throughout the Christian music community.

Since dedicating his music to ministry after years performing in the secular music scene, Howard Gripp has steadily become one of independent Christian music's emerging voices. His debut EP, Rescued Redeemed Forgiven, earned Best Christian Album of the Year and Best Christian Song of the Year at the 2025 Rampage Music Awards, while the music video for "
Hello It's Me" received Music Video of the Year honors from multiple film festivals.
His follow-up EP,
I Can Feel The Change, continued that momentum by earning Album of the Year at the Elite Music Awards and Song of the Year at the Rampage Music Awards. Most recently, Gripp received finalist recognition at the 2026 WAMI Awards, ISSA Awards, and Prayze Factor Awards, further establishing his growing influence as both an artist and songwriter.
