Hip-Hip Artist Teelow Releasing 'Authors of the City'

Jul 14 2021

Hip-Hop artist Teelow, frontman of The JC4Me Collective, is releasing a new album, 'Authors of the City', that was made in the belly of 2020 and tackles race, culture & faith. It's a theory with one question ah the centre: who does the city belong to? The battle between those at the top and the bottom, those in power and those without, and the individual versus the collective is discussed at length over 12 tracks. "I believe we have the solution, and that's what we want to give to people through this album."

"We need an answer. We all do. The last year has shaken our trusted structures and systems to the core, and we now live in a time where the questions we all hide from are at the forefront of our mind. Between the pandemic, isolation and discrimination, so many of us have experienced the need for change."
