While creating "Clutch" Freewill wanted to make it clear that God always shows up when you need him. He really loves those moments when you need him the most where you know couldn’t anybody save you but him. A lot of people call it luck or fate but as believers, we understand it is God.

“Clutch.’ was one of the last records I wrote in 2020, it's a phrase that's often used in sports to describe someone who delivers when the pressure is on. I was in a new place in life, preparing myself for fatherhood and in a moment of reflection, these lyrics started pouring out of me. I decided to write a song about God being clutch. Clutch is rolling the stone away to find an empty tomb.”
