Eklezia Release 'Based on True Events'

Oct 05 2021

Eklezia have released their debut album, 'Based On True Events'. The album includes the track, "In the Beginning", which along with the rest of the EP, is a real-life experience mirrored by the life of a specific bible character.

"Our main goal with producing music and visual content is to spread the Gospel through everything we do, and to make scriptures as comprehendible as possible to this generation.

The name Eklezia was inspired by the Greek work, "ekklesia", meaning Church or Assembly. As a Christian group directly affiliated with CMI Shining Light Ministry, we have dedicated our talents to represent the Church of Jesus Christ through music and visuals, and to do as Colossians 3:16 commands: "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing Psalms and hymns, and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God." In a world where there is an overabundance of amazing lyrics, great beats, and inspiring cinematography, Eklezia's mission is not to become another production group in the industry. Instead, the mission is to spread the Word of God in an innovative way in order for our generation to understand Scriptures at a personal level."

Eklezia released their first single, VAIN, in 2018 when they initiated their ideas for releasing music and videos that resonated with a young generation - with lyrics that were entirely inspired by the Bible.
