New Series 'Worshipping Churches' Releases Live Album 'Get Up On Your Feet'

Mar 15 2010

A new CD series called 'Worshipping Churches' is aiming to capture the vibrancy of worship in UK churches, and begins with the release of 'Get Up On Your Feet' which was recorded live at The Point Church, Burgess Hill, where Stuart Barbour is the worship pastor.

Released on March 10th by Elevation Records, the album brings together new and popular worship songs, offering an insight into the worshipful life of the church, and was recorded in November 2009 as The Point celebrated it's fifth anniversary.

The Point is part of the Church of England and was set up by Matt Redman and Will Kemp towards the end of 2004 with eight adults and 5 children. Focusing just on Acts chapter 2 and its picture of what the early church looked like, their aim from day one was to take the heart of this two thousand year old model of church, and re-imagine it for today's world. The church has grown massively since.
