Marc James To Release Solo Album 'Surrender'

Mar 23 2010

Marc James, front man of the British three piece rock band Verra Cruz, is to release a solo album called 'Surrender' on 19th April.

Describing the singer, Survivor Records said: "Marc James is many things: A talented songwriter. An awesome guitarist. A vocalist with a larynx of rough-hewn granite. And he’s a worshipper. Just listen to the track, 'Surrender'. All that talk of sharing in Christ’s pain, or laying a life down at the foot of the cross, it can only come from a heart that is heaven-bent. Listen out for passion, listen out for beautiful melody and arresting lyrics, and get ready for a voice that’s as raw and honest as they come."

Marc James formed Verra Cruz in 2003 and inspired by the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Ben Harper and Pearl Jam, the band have been playing together ever since. Their debut album 'Emancipation Day' was released in 2006 and after supporting Switchfoot on their European tour in 2007, they self-produced their second record 'Innocence', releasing it in April 2008.

'Surrender' Track Listing:
1 I Worship You Now
2 Great Is Your Faithfulness
3 Father Above
4 Surrender
5 Your Love Endures Forever
6 Blessed Rain
7 Jesus Your Love Is All I Need
8 Everything That I Am
9 King Of All Grace
10 He Reigns
