Elevation Rhythm Releases New Single 'PRAISES'

Mar 12 2023

It was last spring when the world was introduced to the music and ministry of ELEVATION RHYTHM with their album debut, Growing Pains. Today the music collective is thrilled to share a new song, “PRAISES,” available now on all DSPs. A live video for "PRAISES" can also be viewed below.

ELEVATION RHYTHM is the next-generation expression of worship coming out of Elevation Church in Charlotte, North Carolina. With youth and young adults at the forefront of their mission, ELEVATION RHYTHM believes in writing and recording songs with bold sounds, textures, and genres, aiming to create a space for those searching for purpose, identity, and acceptance to encounter Jesus.

“PRAISES,” which became a favorite at their Wednesday night gatherings, earned a prime spot at their annual student conference, YTHX. Josh Holiday, ELEVATION RHYTHM’s lead architect and primary producer, shares, “The first time we sang ‘PRAISES,’ our youth just really connected to it. No matter where ELEVATION RHYTHM goes, our DNA and who we are at the core is this bold, energetic, sometimes edgy, sound. We enter His courts with praise. So we wanted to just start with praise.”

ELEVATION RHYTHM plans to share “PRAISES” along with tracks from Growing Pains when they hit the road this spring for Lecrae’s “The Final Church Clothes Tour” and on Elevation Nights with their sister collective Elevation Worship and their pastor Steven Furtick.
