Claudia Balla Unveils Video For 'Drive' Ahead of New Album 'Winter Tale'

Sep 29 2023

Switzerland based singer-songwriter Claudia Balla has released the video for her new single, 'Drive', which is taken from the upcoming new album 'Winter Tale', due to be released on 13th October.

'Drive' is about getting away, escaping, saving yourself from a place, a situation or a person. The Italian lyrics in the chorus are an homage to the people of Lombardy (IT) during the beginning of Covid-19, as the song was written during that period.

Claudia Balla has established her name as an exciting talent and one to watch. Claudia entered the scene in 2013 with her debut album “Enough”. The record combined soft, stripped-down melodies with powerful piano ballads which made her a force to be reckoned with in the European music scene and paved the way for bigger things to come.

In 2016, Claudia released her sophomore album, “Fire”, featuring her statement single “Perfect”. The thought-provoking song powerfully deals with the current social status of women and the challenges still imposed on women around the world. The contemporary pop production, dark harmonic elements, and honest lyrics resonated within the hearts of listeners across the world.

Most recently Claudia released the album ‘ALICE’, in 2022, which explored society in many different forms.
