KDMusic & Eliza King Duet On 'May My Days Be A Temple Of Praise'

Oct 02 2023

Australian devotional artist, Eliza King, and worship writer KDMusic (Dave Whitcroft) from N.Ireland, have recorded a duet & collaboration together. 'May My Days Be A Temple Of Praise’, is a new hymn to a delicate, captivating melody, reminiscent of timeless Irish tunes. The lyrics draw widely from scripture, pondering how offering our ordinary days, seasons & years to the Lord, can become something eternal in His hands.

What’s it’s purpose?
"How do we make our time an offering of worship? In asking that question, we realised the song needed to work as both a devotional for weekday individual listeners, and be memorable and clear enough for Sunday morning congregations. Beautiful isn't enough, the song is pastorally useful because it thoughtfully explores biblical themes of natural seasons, human history, and an ordinary day, all from an eternal perspective’ Dave Whitcroft explains.

How can I use it?
For church, choir, school & livestream, there’s a free bundle of music resources above, and the song is preloaded to CCLI Songselect

What’s next?
This single is one of two remaining releases leading to album 'The Grace, Scots-Irish Worship From Lisnabreeny Hill Fort'. The album aims to deliver useful mod-hymns that ordinary churches can draw on for special occasions through the cycle of a church year.
