Scots-Irish Worship Writers KDMusic Release Biblical Memorial Hymn 'Here we Stand' (feat. The Secret Choir)
Monday 20th November saw the release of KDMusic’s second single this year “Here We Stand†from upcoming worship album The Grace - Scots-Irish Worship from Lisnabreeny Hill Fort.
Here We Stand, written in response to a handful of significant early bereavements from a church in Belfast, Ireland, blends much loved ancient melody ‘The Parting Glass’ with scripture on witness, suffering and glory from Hebrews 12 & 1 Peter.
Here We Stand acknowledges the loss we all feel, but it's hopeful, defiant tone, helps worshippers honour the memory of the Christian faithful who have gone ahead to glory in Christ.
The song uses minimal instrumentation; guitar, piano, Irish pipe & drum - to give space to the huge sound of lilting harmonies and “The Secret Choir". This Modhymn touches the themes of witness, suffering, glory, testimony & the cloud of witnesses.
